it can be a little boring in parts, but in general, i find when i listen to Jiddu Krishnamurti that i remember that i've always known what he says - i just fail to practice it.

via Boing Boing tv presents CUPCAKE CUTTHROATS, a cakesploitation epic exploring the dark side of electric art-cars shaped like baked goods. These homemade vehicles are crafted by Silicon Valley nerds (including one engineer from Tesla Motors) and Burning Man enthusiasts in a Berkeley, California, warehouse. In today's episode, Xeni joins the marauding muffineers for a 15-mph thrillride down mean, sugar-sprinkled streets.
This Saturday a protest will be held at Boise City Hall to add equal protection to ALL Idahoans.
There was a scuffle on Thursday that featured Wayne Hammond, Budget Director of the State of Idaho, shuffling off the idea that Bike Lanes were anything more than a North-End dream. The meeting was featured in the Twitter Feed of Idaho Reports Thanh Tan, and the Boise Weekly's CityDesk editor Nathaniel Hoffman. Sen. LeFavour wrote a great piece about it, and there are some excellent comments from readers.
Since that time, Idaho Reports taped it's weekly show, which featured Wayne Hammond! Betsy Russel asks "If the 'enhancement' fund is not going to be spent on bike paths, it's going to be spent on landscaping."
the presentations have been announced for Ignite Boise #1 in which looks to be an interesting event with pretty diverse topics.
arecity will be doing a 5 minute presentation on art, play and creativity . . . don't miss it.
