"Doing
a little exploring with someone on Saturday and I was shown this
absolute gem of a building in Long Island City. The number 7 train
rolls right past this huge warehouse which is completely covered in
amazing graffiti. growing up in NYC I remember when the graffiti on the
trains was this good and all of that crappy chicken scratch crap was
considered garbage. We spent about an hour walking around the building
and I could spend a good part of a day taking pictures of this place.
More detailed shots to come.
Oh and just an additional detail. the group of people in the lower
right corner is stuffing a kid in a dumpster full of fabric
clippings........ don't worry because he was enjoying it.
Another Note. This is a building where artists are allowed (by permit
from someone in the building) to put their work up. It is intended to
keep the art alive with full support from the building. Thanks to Punk
Dolphin for starting the info trail on this building.
